Talgo starts operating its Intercity trains in Egypt
Egypt’s national railway company ENR has started this week the commercial operation of the Intercity trains built by Talgo in Spain. The first services connect the Egyptian capital, Cairo, and the city of Alexandria. This milestone confirms the satisfactory progress of the project for the supply of six units and their maintenance for eight years, for c. 160 million euros, which has also involved the construction of new Talgo facilities in Egypt.

Talgo registers 352.2 €m of revenues up to September due to increased industrial activity
Talgo registered a revenue of 352.2 €m in the first nine months of 2022, down from 427 €m registered in the same period of the previous year, mainly due to the change in the project mix and the impact on the pace of execution of manufacturing projects, affected by disruptions in the supply chain. However, the company has already seen a recovery of industrial activity in recent months, resulting in higher quarterly revenues.

Deutsche Bahn chooses Talgo to design the German train of the future

directors, presented today the first passenger car of the intercity train that, in its category,
will become the European reference. The ICE L is a long-distance train, which is being
