Talgo America

Changing the Way America Moves

Full Speed Ahead: Your Career on the Right Track!

Talgo is growing fast, and we’re looking for talented individuals to join our team. Every day, thousands of passengers ride Talgo trains via Amtrak, with our dedicated maintenance crew in Seattle keeping the Cascades line running smoothly. From routine inspections and troubleshooting to complex repairs and component replacements, our team ensures these trains operate safely and efficiently.

Beyond the Pacific Northwest, our teams in Milwaukee and Los Angeles are hard at work, including a major overhaul of rail cars operated by Metrolink in Southern California. This critical work involves stripping down old railcars, rebuilding key systems, upgrading interiors, and restoring them to peak performance—ensuring safe, reliable transportation for countless commuters. Our work keeps communities connected, industries moving, and rail travel efficient.

At Talgo, our success comes from our greatest asset—our people. Across the world, our diverse teams bring fresh ideas, collaboration, and a commitment to integrity, teamwork, respect, and leadership.

We’re currently seeking motivated individuals who thrive in a hands-on environment. If you’re ready to build a career with impact, apply today!

DBE Goal

Talgo, Inc., is a Transit Vehicle Manufacturer with manufacturing facilities in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Talgo has established a DBE Goal in accordance with USDOT DBE Rule 49 CFR Part 26.45(c)(1) (https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-49/subtitle-A/part-26).

Talgo’s overall DBE goal for FY 2025 (Oct. 1, 2024 to Sept. 30, 2025) is 2.42% of the total amount of domestic contracted dollars we will expend on FTA-assisted contracts should any be awarded.

Talgo is seeking DBEs certified under 49 CFR Part 26 and SBEs meeting SBA standards to submit technical and commercial proposals to us for materials and services we may require to manufacture passenger buses/vans.

The potential supplier work scope may include: Download.

DBE Goal

We determined the DBEs matching targeted NAICS codes in our market from State DOT DBE directories in Wisconsin and New York. Using the Census Bureau’s County Business Pattern data base, we determined the number of all firms that perform work in the same NAICS codes in our market. We divided the number of DBEs by the number of all businesses to derive a base figure for the relative availability of DBEs in our market.

DBE Goal

Talgo’s proposed goal and its rationale are available for inspection during normal business hours at our principal office and will accept comments on the goal.  Comments may be sent to:
