Social Action and Contribution to Society
By creating a visible and quantifiable social footprint and brand, Talgo demonstrates its commitment to society.
Social Action and Collaboration initiatives are specifically targeted at the “Social Actors” stakeholder group and are delivered through two main channels:
- the social initiatives and projects supported by the Talgo Foundation and the
- Social impact activities and initiatives implemented by the Group’s human resources management.
In order to respond appropriately to society, Talgo has established the relevant issue “Action, Development and Contribution to Society” as a guarantee of its commitment to help build the best social ecosystems in the countries where Talgo operates.
The management model developed and managed in collaboration with the Talgo Foundation gives priority to the following areas of external social sustainability:
- Promote education and training in societies, especially those related to professional development, technology and innovation as drivers of change.
- Support equality, equity and diversity in society.
- Defend and promote human rights.
- Cultural, artistic and historical development.
This management model is based on the participation of Talgo’s employees, whose voluntary cooperation contributes to the success of the initiatives implemented.
As a complementary action to support the first field of action mentioned above, the organization launches and manages calls for prizes, scholarships and technical training actions of high value to society.
