Running Gear Maintenance Support (RGMS)
Main purpose: improvement of comfort and dynamic behavior of the vehicles as well as the decrease of the wheel wear.
Usually it includes:
- Running gear inspection
- Control of the running gear parameters
- Recommendations for turning
- Turning
- Guidance and level adjustment (only Talgo trains)
- Running gear overhaul
- Engineering support (running gear specialist)
Technical Support and Spares Supply Agreement (TSSSA)
Talgo offers technical support in maintenance in terms of integrated logistics and technical assistance drawn on its extended experience in the field.
The scope of our services, additional to RGMS, is fully customized to meet the customers´ needs. These include, among others:
- Integrated supply of maintenance materials, spare parts stock replenishment and management, obsolescence management and warehouse control
- Technical assistance, personnel training, troubleshooting and modifications
Customized Service Package
Talgo adapts to the maintenance needs of its customers. We offer a wide range of services and solutions:
- Light (partial) maintenance
- Heavy maintenance (on demand)
- Spare parts and materials management
Full Service Agreement (FSA)
Talgo offers comprehensive maintenance FSA allowing the client to focus solely on operation. FSA breakdown is as follows:

Entity in Charge of Maintenance
Talgo is accredited as an Entity in charge of maintenance (ECM) nder the European Union legislation and in accordance with the provisions of Regulation EU 2019/779; and possesses the knowledge and expertise necessary to perform four core maintenance types on Talgo and third parties fleet.
